Be Palestinian or not to be this is not the Question
“Oh look, what my darling son did?” mum wondered
Saturday, June 16, 2012
My sister and my brother were playing together, as usual, with play dough. Today was the first day for the second round in Egypt for election, millions have gone to elect whereas we were watching TV, who would win in Egypt election, Mohamed Morsi or Ahmad Shafeeq? They said that there’re a lot of cheating, oh Allah, beg you, rescues Egypt. If Mohamed Morsi didn’t win, what would that mean? The ending of the revolution! Just think like that has gotten on our nerves.
I was drumming with my fist on the table beside me, dad gave us hope, but I was afraid, I was unable to do something for our neighbors at Egypt. Disability, that’s what I was at that time, so I went to pray, I couldn’t say that I was angry.
My siblings were clever, they made many shapes, my youngest brother made snail and show us: “mum, Lina look doesn’t this snail look like Shafeeq?”Brother laughed.
“Oh look, what my darling son did !” mum wondered and hugged my brother then she nudged me, “see what he did!”
